Kelly CreedenAs Marketing Program Manager, Kelly Creeden coordinates the programming and logistics for the Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Oxford in the U.K., as well as other events and activities as part of the Skoll Foundation’s Marketing team. Kelly came to the foundation from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was Assistant Director of University Events and Ceremonies. In that role, she planned, produced and managed events for the chancellor and University Relations department. She previously worked as an Event Producer for HGI Ventures in San Francisco, where her responsibilities included logistics planning and managing 400 volunteers for the Avon Wall for Breast Cancer, a major, multiday fundraising walk. She also was employed as a Development Officer for the International Museum of Women in San Francisco and as a Regional Wish Coordinator for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic in Kensington, Maryland. Kelly’s many volunteer activities have included serving on the steering committee for VDAY San Francisco, a campaign to stop violence against women. She also was a member of the Women’s Roundtable to End Abuse, which is sponsored by the Family Violence Prevention Fund in San Francisco. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. |
