Ceres’ Extreme Weather Report More Relevant Than Ever

October 31, 2012 by

Our hearts go out to those whose lives were lost during Hurricane Sandy, and to our awardees and friends whose lives were affected.

Just last month, Skoll Awardee Ceres released a report that’s now more relevant than ever. It said that “worsening weather in a warming world poses a growing risk to the financial stability of insurance companies and has broad ramifications for the economy and society.”

We wanted to share the link with  you here, and tell you about the Center for Disaster Philanthropy’s  “Hurricane Sandy Philanthropic Needs Teleconference”  at 3 p.m. EST today, to learn more about what donors can do to help the recovery from Hurriane Sandy.
