 “Build a Better World”

 People who work to build a better world – by doing things like showing Kenyan farmers how to irrigate their fields or opening a school for children in India – are now called “social entrepreneurs.” The New Heroes, a PBS documentary hosted by Robert Redford on June 28 and July 5, is about 14 such people.

 But there’s a twist: At www.thenewheroes.org, you can order a free DVD with highlights from the film, then host a screening party; there’s also a guide to get kids interested in helping others.
