Social Edge, or “The Edge” as some members call it, is the online community where social entrepreneurs, nonprofit professionals, philanthropists and other practitioners of the social sector connect to network, learn, inspire and share resources. Social Edge is sponsored by the Skoll Foundation and owned and shaped by its members. The site strikes a balance between the visionary and the practical with its spirited discussions and online workshops and features. Social Edge is designed to foster frank dialogue, build mutual respect and create a sense of community among those in the social sector.
