Brittany Boettcher joined the Skoll Foundation in 2006 and currently serves as Program Manager for the Skoll Awards for Social Entrepreneurship, the foundation’s flagship grantmaking program. As Program Manager, Brittany focuses on strategically identifying social entrepreneurs for the Skoll Awards that are poised to have large-scape impact on issues of global importance. Prior to her work at the Skoll Foundation, she attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and was the volunteer coordinator at the International English Center where she recruited and managed a community of volunteers and matched them with foreign exchange students to enhance cultural exchange.
Brittany holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Colorado in Boulder and a minor in Japanese language and culture. She also studied at Temple University in Tokyo and travelled extensively around Japan. She is currently pursuing her Maters in Business Administration at the Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco.
