Brittany Boettcher works on the Skoll Foundation’s selection and portfolio management initiatives.
Prior to assuming her current role as Associate Program Officer, Brittany served as a Program Assistant for Program and Impact and also as an Administrative Assistant in the Executive Office of the Skoll Foundation, supporting the President and CEO. Before joining Skoll Brittany worked as Senior Marketing Assistant at Ace Capital Group in Redwood City, CA, producing marketing materials for the investment real estate company.
Brittany earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and a minor in Japanese language and culture from the University of Colorado in Boulder. While attending college, she was the Volunteer Coordinator of the International English Center where she worked independently to create and promote a conversation exchange program to help foreign students learn conversational English from volunteers in the community. During her junior year, she attended Temple University in Tokyo, where she studied Japanese language and culture and traveled extensively around Japan.
A Minnesota native, Brittany now spends her time training of triathlons and other endurance events. She enjoys cooking, traveling and reading and loves English Bulldogs.
