Joy Zhang
As an Associate on the Portfolio Team, Joy conducts research, due diligence, and analysis on potential investment opportunities and active investments. Joy provides support to the Portfolio Team in developing and structuring funding opportunities to drive large scale change.
Joy joined the Skoll Foundation as a Tom Ford Fellow in Philanthropy, a competitive 11-month fellowship awarded by Stanford University. Prior to working at Skoll, Joy was actively involved in public service at Stanford and in the community. She co-founded the first student group at Stanford to raise awareness of the prevalence of hepatitis B in the Asian American community and partnered with the university health center to provide free screening and care to at-risk students. Joy has also worked with a local NGO in India that works to end female infanticide and was a project manager for an education nonprofit that offers high-quality SAT prep to low income students.
Joy graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Human Biology and a minor in Economics.
